Josef Brabenec has over 40 years of playing experience, including 25 years as a full time professional player. He came to Canada from the Czech Republic where he quickly established himself as one of Canada’s top junior players, winning many national and international events. As an adult player, Josef was a member of the Davis Cup team for six years, won ten National Championships and achieved a #2 ranking in Canada and an ATP ranking of #128. This experience as a player has influenced Josef to become a dedicated international coach whose philosophy is to “keep it simple” and to “have the best communication possible with his players.”

Josef was the touring pro/owner of the Olympic Athletic Club, served as the national coach for both Egypt and Indonesia, and contracted as the touring coach for players from the United States, the Czech Republic, China, Egypt and Canada.
